Growing up with the TV at my disposal left its mark just as the internet did. I'm almost certain any avid vore enjoyer has a memory of a particular episode or seqence from a movie involving vore too. For little me I thought KW eating Max was neat, very creative!.
On the side I also remember seeing one too many detailed mouths in my saturday cartoons/shows...
That in mind it's a question of: Why was this added?
Intent is everything, as we can use the noms as a funny joke for sure- or even a plot device like ole moses. Sadly there are people like Dan Schneider who put their kinks in places they shouldn't be.
On a kids TV network.
Makes me wonder if my enjoyment is rooted in the televisions presenting it to me. How bout you?
Side note: Don't feel bad for having kinks. Just make good choices where/how you express your tastes.

Can it be artistic?
Yes in my opinion. Just cause someone ate someone on tv doesn't mean the writer always has kinky intent.
Maybe due to it being a comfort trope to me I can think about vore without a hard on involved. And I have met many who like it as nothing more than a comedic/comfort method for their stories.
So when we see it presented to us we have to again think about the intent.
Do you feel like we are oogling at a mouth? Or the teasing is just a bit odd? Then it's probs a kinky thing. Which would be ok if it was somewhere appropriate!
On the other hand we can use Max and KW as example: "I'll eat you up I love you so" was just being manifested to max, and he was having to be hidden from getting torn to shreds and ate by Carol.
And unless you are sick in the head I imagine you are also equally scared for max in the moment when Carol draws near. Of course if you hate the film I can't speak for you lmao.

Yet, seems to be an odd coexistence online when we talk vore specifically.
There are ample vore fans who also just like g/t with the trope being part of the formerly mentioned quite often. BUT on the other side I have met G/T fans who get squeamish at the mere mention of just giving a tiny a taste!
Of course I don't blame them, we all have our tastes.
Though it makes me wonder the ratio of overall g/t fans and how many also like vore!
